USA Biggest Loser gets another series

Laurie Ann sent me a tip about the new series of the US TV show, The Biggest Loser. The Yahoo post about it seems a little confusing. Not sure if the writer was trying to make fun or just been paid to hype the show. Lots of nice things said about the people but not exactly sympathetic to them though.

I can only imagine there are two sorts of audience for a show like this. Either to watch 'fat' people suffer while trying to lose weight or see them as an inspiration in their own private efforts to shed some weight.

The new series will be season 9, so I guess there is a demand for it.

A question for our US readers, will you be watching it and why?

I'm not really into the reality weight loss shows. I'd rather watch something like Amazing Race which has a wide rage of people from size, age, ethnicity etc.
